help! layout help needed!!

okay, so i'm stuck. I was trying to go for a spontaneous flower burst effect with this layout, but right now, i'm hating it. Any ideas? Or should I just start over and make a new, completely different layout?

okay, i finished making a new one
I made two versions, I'm uncomfortable with both of them; they just don't look very good to me
let me know what you think!
*NOTE* [I know that it doesn't look centered right now, but it will be centered when i code it; this is just a preview of what it'll look like coded]

I like the second one better...
Hm, it's hard to give suggestions because I'm not sure what you don't like about them...

Version two looks much, much pleasing. Perhaps adding a pattern on the background would make it look less empty. Do that and see how it looks then. Also sharpen it a bit. It looks a little blurry at the moment.
